TID Clinic #1 – Hurst Marina

August 19th, 2009 | Clinics

After about a week of thunderstorms and clouds, we were woken up by this strange, glorious light streaming through our window. Yes, I am describing the first, glass calm, 25 degree day of sunshine Ottawa had seen in weeks. Ally and I met up with Remi Diaglo of the HP wakeboard school at Hurst marina for our first all girls wakeboard clinic of the season. We were joined by 4 lady rippers who were all extremely talented on the water!  These girls were a treat to coach, the river was the glassiest butter ever, as usual and the day was heaps of fun. We are proud to say that every single girl learned something new, from wakesurfing to wake to wake toeside and heelside 180s; told you these ladies were rippers!

What a great day!  Thanks to all the girls who came out and hope to see you next year :-)

Check out all the sweet photos here.
